I put a bit my heart into all of the films that I make. It could be because I'm a secret romantic, but I really try to tell the story of the couple and go beyond the actual wedding day. When going to edit this film, my heart was already in it before even sorting the footage. I know the story of this couple firsthand and I was feeling the pressure to tell it right. Though this is the shortest turnaround time that I've ever delivered a film, its also been the most challenging and best editing process that I've experienced. Max and Paige are some of my closest friends and it was a huge honor to document the day they became husband and wife.
My husband (my amazing second shooter and teammate) and I were in the wedding, but we still couldn't resist the opportunity to document this day for our dearest friends Max & Paige. Between the laughter and the many tears, each moment of this day was so special to witness. Max and Paige's love story started when they were only fourteen and they have been so intentional with their relationship, always striving to put God first. The day they became one was beautiful in every way possible. God's presence was felt throughout as even the rain came at the most perfect moments. I hope this film does them and their sweet wedding day justice, it was a joy to be a part of it and I'm thrilled to share their film with you now!
This totally wouldn't have been possible without our friend Chloe who shot the bits and pieces we weren't able to, she really went above and beyond to make this happen. She is an absolute champ and so talented! Go check out here work here: https://www.facebook.com/chloetrexlerphotography
