There’s something incredibly special about photographing a couple at the very place they’ll say “I do.” Roberta and Jason chose to have their engagement session at Historic Stonebrook in Bucks County, Pennsylvania, and it couldn’t have been more meaningful — or more beautiful.
From the moment we started, it was obvious: these two are truly best friends.
Their session at Historic Stonebrook felt effortless. The way Jason makes Roberta laugh. The way she naturally leans into him. The quiet in-between moments where they don’t need direction because being together just comes so easily.
Historic Stonebrook is one of Bucks County’s hidden gems. The historic stone architecture, soft rolling landscape, and romantic charm make it the perfect setting for couples who love timeless elegance with a warm, intimate feel. It’s especially meaningful that Roberta and Jason will be returning here in June — this time surrounded by family and friends — to become husband and wife.
Engagement sessions at your wedding venue are always something I encourage. It allows you to:
- Get comfortable in front of the camera before your wedding day
- Explore the property and find your favorite photo locations
- Create a cohesive visual story from engagement to wedding
By the time June arrives, Roberta and Jason will walk onto these grounds already knowing exactly how it feels to be here together — relaxed, joyful, and completely at home.
Their love is steady. Playful. Deeply rooted in friendship. And that foundation is going to make for the most beautiful marriage.
I absolutely cannot wait to photograph their wedding at Historic Stonebrook this June. If their engagement session was any indication, it’s going to be an unforgettable day filled with laughter, meaning, and so much love.
Roberta & Jason — thank you for trusting me to document this season. Counting down to June 🤍
